Illinois Office of Tourism Releases New Fall/Winter Travel Illinois Magazine

CHICAGO –  The new fall/winter Travel Illinois magazine titled “Just Go!” is now available online and in print, offering inspiration for fall getaways and adventurous activities throughout the colder months to come. From staying in quirky treehouses, to getting lost in corn mazes, to climbing frozen waterfalls in Starved Rock, there is no shortage of amazing ways to experience Illinois this time of year.   

The magazine highlights incredible places to eat, stay and play across the state this fall and winter including:

Chicago and Beyond – Spotlight on Ottawa

  • Sip craft beers at Tangled Roots Brewing Company in Ottawa
  • Take a scenic paddle ride along the sandstone bluffs at Buffalo Rock State Park
  • Stay at the charming River House Bed and Breakfast set on a high bluff overlooking the Illinois and Fox Rivers

  • Explore a tropical atrium at the Quad City Botanical Garden

 The “Just Go!” issue also features an interview with celebrity-chef Rick Bayless who shares his favorite Chicago restaurants, neighborhoods, markets and theaters.
